Born and raised in Cave Creek, Cara Dankberg has an intimate knowledge of the Valley of the Sun. She grew up enjoying and exploring the desert on ATVs, horseback, and by boat in the beautiful lakes around the valley.
She has seen Phoenix grow and change tremendously through the years with new freeways, sports teams, restaurants and hot spots, schools and institutions, businesses, and neighborhoods. Her love of the desert and the Phoenix area is apparent and something she shares with her family and everyone she meets. Cara’s out-of-town clients love that she can be their tour guide as they get settled while local clients appreciate her familiarity with the nooks and crannies of this sprawling city.
Close to home, are the well-appointed horse properties in the north valley. Cara was raised on horse property and has been a horsewoman since she was born – she’s been riding that long at least. She is a passionate horse owner and grew up competing in Hunter/Jumper shows. What makes a great horse property is common sense to her, whether it's a large ranch, farm, training facility, or a home with room for a horse or three.
Cara’s clients take her all over the valley from Scottsdale, Cave Creek, and Carefree to Phoenix, Glendale Tempe, Gilbert, and Mesa. She’s experienced with luxury homes, horse properties, golf properties, and land and investment properties. And when it comes to marketing, she has a leg up.
An academic scholarship brought her to Arizona State University where Cara received a degree in computer information systems. Since then she has built enterprise-level software, and numerous websites and is skilled in graphics design. With these tools in her pocket, she is excellent at marketing properties for sale. She uses as many avenues as possible to get the word out and the marketing materials she creates showcase properties in a clean, crisp, and eye-catching way.
Working with Cara, you can expect straightforward, honest communication from a knowledgeable professional who is looking out for your best interest. She is a skilled negotiator and a caring compassionate friend whose goal is to help you reach yours.
On the personal side, family is everything to Cara. She married her best friend and business partner, Chad, at Grayhawk Golf Club in 2013 after he proposed on top of Camelback Mountain. They have two young boys who share Cara’s love of the desert and Chad’s love of sports. You can often find them all outside on ATVs or bikes, golfing, swimming, or playing baseball. Cara and Chad love to travel, golf, go to comedy shows and sporting events – especially Arizona Cardinals games, and can’t wait for a good powder day for snowboarding.
